What should I bring?
Bring something to keep you warm like a sweater or light jacket in case of rain or heavy winds. We have handmade quilts on the yacht for guests to use if the weather gets chilly or someone needs a little extra comfort. These are made of organic fabrics created by local artists on Bainbridge Island and hand-woven by owner Janaea Cordier Barnard. They are also available for sale.
Where do your trips depart from?
Mainly Bainbridge Island, WA. We can pick you up at the ferry terminal on Bainbridge if you want. The ferry from Seattle takes around 30 minutes and is a pleasurable trip. We can also arrange pickup at places like Anacortes for easy access to trips to the San Juan Islands. We also can provide transport from Seattle. Just let us know what you need.
What if I get sea sick?
If you’re prone to motion sickness there are things you can buy and take ahead of time. Call us for more information. We do carry a supply of things on the boat to help. But remember, our yacht is designed to not heel over too much so your chances of feeling sick while on the water are very much reduced.
What about special dietary needs?
Again, please just let us know with a phone call or email or at the time you purchase your package. We can work with any and all dietary needs you might have. Gluten-free, vegetarian, fish-only, low carb etc.. just let us know and we will plan a gourmet meal just for you. More information is on the website Accomodations page.
Should I expect to see whales?
I would love to tell you yes but that would not be truthful! We always try. You will see lots of dolphins and bald eagles and many other great creatures in our adventure. firstname.lastname@example.org
Is sailing comfortable?
Extremely! In fact once you try it you just might get hooked! We try very hard to make it very comfortable for you. The boat has a bathroom and a cozy seating area below deck.

Do you have trips for kids?
Yes, kids love our Blake Island trip where they can run around on the island and explore then have a lovely picnic where they choose. Or dine aboard the yacht - whatever our guests prefer. And of course we provide life jackets for all participants on all of our trips.
Can you accommodate disabilities?
Yes, we can. Our cockpit is very large and we have a drop down step for easy boarding. There are four steps down to the galley area with bathroom which are more like stairs than climbing on a boat. The boat is new (2016) and the design very modern for passenger ease and comfort.
What is the largest group you can take on a trip?
A comfortable size is six customers. If you are over that with children call us and we can decide how to best plan an adventure to suit your needs. Are overnight accommodations available? Yes, we have a 2017, 30-foot Airstream Classic that is sometimes available for an overnight stay and many referrals to hotels and B&Bs on the island. Just ask when you book your trip.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we allow pets but this is considered on an individual basis.
Contact us to go over your specific situation. Any pet allowed onboard must have a pet-approved water jacket. Can you provide non alcoholic drinks? Yes. Can you work with a variety of dietary restrictions? Yes. Our chefs will work around what you require with adequate notice.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
We book out our captains ahead of time as well as our food choices. Therefore, we need at least a 48 hour cancellation notice for a full refund. After that 50% of your trip will be charged.
What is required to hold a trip? We require 50% at time of booking.
Are you able to provide a complete custom experience for what we are looking for?
Yes. This is something we will go over with you when you contact us and find out what you’re looking for. Then we work together to plan accordingly.
